The mission of the St. Hilary School
Fine Arts Program is to build an appreciation of art, teach skills,
encourage confidence and creativity in producing art and prepare
students for the future.
Students experience art in a variety of ways including art
production, art criticism, art history, and art aesthetics. Students
learn basic concepts in art such as art elements and principles,
learn unique art techniques, use self-discipline and experience
exciting hands-on learning. All students are introduced to a variety
of art media to enhance their experiences. As the children grow, so
does their skill level and technique approaches for the projects.
