About
Our School
A high-quality education is one of the most important
things that we can provide a child. Exposure to a
variety of topics, people, and adventures all contribute
to a fulfilling school experience.
At St. Hilary of Poitiers School we focus on educating
the whole child. We encourage our students to
discover and develop their talents. Our Christian
faith permeates every aspect of who we are and what we
do. Our students are encouraged to develop
leadership abilities and interpersonal skills,
understand personal responsibility, practice
sportsmanship, and to provide service to the community.
Recognizing that both home and school are an integral
part to our faith-centered community, parents and
teachers partner to guide each student to recognize and
discover Christ in all people and understand the
importance of preparing students to be deeply rooted in
their faith and their education and become peace-filled
citizens of the world.

In September,
1994, SHS instituted a Peace Program. This Peace Program
became the philosophy of our school. It is based on the
principles taught by Jesus Christ. It infiltrated every
curriculum area and is our Discipline Code. This
non-violent approach touches every person in our school
community. It touches our principal, teachers, staff
members, parents, and students. All are required to follow
these principles of peace.
